Winners Jiu-Jitsu Academy training floor
10 minutes from North Miami Beach

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu near North Miami Beach, FL

North Miami Beach BJJ — just across the 163rd Street Causeway from Winners Academy. Kids programs from age 3, adult classes for every level, kickboxing, and private lessons. About 10 minutes door to door.

North Miami Beach and Sunny Isles are essentially neighbors divided by a causeway. Many NMB families have been training here for years — Eastern Shores, Keystone Point, and the neighborhoods around Biscayne Landing and Sole Mia are all inside a 10–12 minute drive. Our head coach, Jonatas Gurgel, has taught NMB kids who started with us in 3-4 Tiny Warriors and are now in 8-12 Full Winners — an entire elementary-school arc on our mats.

North Miami Beach is one of the most linguistically diverse areas in the county, and our coaching staff reflects that. We teach in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian — the four languages most of our NMB students grow up hearing at home. It matters in kids classes especially, where a coach being able to explain a technique in a child's first language is the difference between a frustrated session and a breakthrough.

The commute is simple: 163rd Street Causeway east, right on Collins, you're here. Our schedule works with NMB school dismissal times and with the Keystone Point / Highland Oaks commute home from work. We recommend the 5:00–6:00 PM window for most NMB families.
