Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of winnerstrainingcenter.com (the "Site") and the services provided by Winners Jiu-Jitsu Academy ("Winners", "we", "our"). By using the Site or participating in any class, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

Winners Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a martial arts school located at 17100 Collins Ave, Suite 201, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. We offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, self-defense, and private training for adults and children. Head coach is Jonatas Gurgel.

Free trial classes

Every prospective student is eligible for one complimentary trial class. Booking a trial does not create a membership obligation. You may decline to enroll for any reason with no fee owed.

Membership

Memberships are month-to-month unless otherwise stated. Pricing, class schedule, and program details are discussed at the academy; we do not publish fixed prices publicly. Sibling and family discounts are available for kids programs.

Membership freeze

You may freeze your membership by submitting the freeze request form. Freezes must be requested at least 7 days before your next billing date. Minimum freeze 1 month, maximum 3 months per request.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership by submitting the cancellation request form. Requests must be submitted at least 30 days before your next billing date. Your membership remains active through the end of the current billing cycle.

Class participation and safety

• All students must sign a liability waiver before participating in any class.
• Follow all instructions from coaches and academy staff.
• Report any injury, illness, or physical limitation before class.
• Arrive on time with clean training attire and short nails.
• No outside coaching or unsupervised training on the mat.
• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at check-in and pick-up for ages under 13.
• We reserve the right to refuse service or discontinue membership in cases of repeated safety violations, disruptive behavior, or non-payment.

Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Site without permission (except for normal browsing and linking).
• Attempt to disrupt the Site or circumvent security measures.
• Impersonate another person or submit false information through forms.
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Site, including all text, images, videos, and the Winners brand, is owned by Winners Jiu-Jitsu Academy or used under license. Blog posts, technique breakdowns, and photos may be shared on social media with attribution, but may not be republished elsewhere without prior written consent.

Third-party links and embeds

The Site links to or embeds Google Maps, social media, and occasional third-party articles. Those services have their own terms; we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Disclaimers

Martial arts training carries inherent physical risks. We take reasonable steps to minimize these risks, but no training program is entirely risk-free. By participating, you acknowledge the risks and agree to train responsibly. Always consult a physician before beginning a new physical activity.

Content on the Site (blog posts, technique guides, etc.) is for informational purposes and is not a substitute for in-person instruction or medical advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Winners Jiu-Jitsu Academy's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site or services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page.
