Aventura is where our kids program quietly took off. Waterways families, Williams Island families, Aventura Circle families — they were already driving past us on Collins for the beach; once one parent tried a class, the rest of the community followed. Today, a significant share of our kids 5–7 and 8–12 programs come from Aventura ZIP codes.
The commute is short and predictable: take Biscayne Boulevard south to William Lehman, cross to Collins, and you are here. Off peak, it's 7–8 minutes. Even in the worst after-school window, it rarely breaks 15. Many Aventura parents prefer the causeway route specifically because it avoids the 163rd Street congestion most BJJ-curious families default to.
Our head coach Jonatas Gurgel is a 2x World Cup Champion, 3x Pan American Champion, 4x Brazilian National Champion, and an undefeated 5-0 MMA fighter. Which Aventura schools do your students attend?+
Our Aventura students come from public K-8 schools in the Aventura area as well as several private schools in the north Dade area. We design kids class times around the standard public-school dismissal schedule.
